one small goal - who's in?

At my most recent Weight Watchers meeting, we talked about setting one small goal for the week ahead.  We brainstormed a list that included everything from eating fruit every day to leaving something on your plate at every meal.

The WW leader mentioned that she and her weight loss buddy used to give each other goofy little goals like this just to keep each other on track and to keep it fun.

And that got me thinking: wouldn't it be fun to challenge myself (and others) to make and keep one small goal each week that will help us to be more healthy?
We could choose to do something that we know we should be doing (drink lots of water) or that we have always wanted to do (try jicama) or that will definitely help us get healthy (walk 20 minutes each day).

We could commit to meeting that one small goal every day for a week and encourage each other along the way.  Having a goal will keep us mindful of how we treat our bodies.  And who knows, some of these goals might stick and become habits to our ongoing good health.

Of course, some of the goals will be less enjoyable, but hey - it's only a week!  We can do anything for a week right?

So, who's in?  Want to challenge yourself with one small goal towards healthy living each week?
